Senior Manager, International Finance (Sports Management/Operations)
Our International Finance Department is looking for a candidate who will promptly contribute to the overall organization by providing financial analysis and decision support services at the Senior Manager level. This role is responsible for the overall financial reporting of the International division. This position reports to the Senior Director of International Finance, manages a team of one personnel and works with the Senior Leaders of the division and our parent company through the primary responsibilities listed below. This position is located in Bristol, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
Champions the direction, creation and maintenance of financial modeling and reporting for the International division.
Deliverables predominately include Budget, Quarterly, Long Range Plan, Mini forecasts, Monthly/Quarterly Closes along with Ad hoc reporting.
Compiles and communicates all forecast timelines/calendars to worldwide regional partners
Complete oversight regarding monthly/quarterly forecast and close variances as well as financial opportunities and risk.
Oversees all aspects of currency including the consolidation and re-statement of exposure to produce constant rate analysis, liaison with Corporate Treasury on the Hedge Program, effectiveness and strategies for complex transactions.
Recommends and implements changes to ensure efficient and accurate consolidation processes and systems. This includes the roll out of any corporate standardization initiatives.
Oversees U.S. based departmental expenses across all functional areas of the division.
Manages relationships with US based partners, often at a senior business leader level
Manage and develop 1 direct report which includes providing direction, support, performance evaluations and coaching/mentoring as to develop employees and meet the needs of our International Finance.
Basic Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience with at least 1 year in people management
People management skills as they apply to highly trained professionals
Strategic database and modeling experience
Solid corporate financial analysis and planning experience
Extensive experience in SAP or similar financial reporting tool
Extensive familiarity with foreign currency
Preferred Qualifications
Collaborative team player with strong intellectual curiosity
Excellent organization and communication skills
Executive presence and ability to interact with senior executives, as well as all other levels of individuals within an organization
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects often occurring simultaneously
Bilingual candidates and those with international market experience are encouraged to apply
Ability to flex and adapt work schedule to changing business demands and an international client group
