Senior Gas Accountant
GAS PLANT ACCOUNTANT NEEDED ASAP!!!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Position will be responsible for the allocating and recording of gas plant gas residue and NGL volumes and value. This includes allocating back to the producing properties. Additional responsibilities include analysis of A/R, A/P and variance analysis. This job requires a team player with high standards of excellence and attention to detail. This position will work in conjunction with various other departments and will require some overtime.
SKILLS:
Essential Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work independently or as a team member when required Knowledge of oil and gas revenue accounting Knowledge of gas plant accounting
Important Knowledge of TIPS Gas Plant Accounting System
Preferred Knowledge of SAP/PRA
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurate allocation and recording of gas plant products Reconciliation of A/R and A/P Variance analysis Creation of manual Journal entries Monthly maintenance in TIPS and PRA Reporting and payment of ND Regulatory severance taxes Answer owner and producer inquiries
EXPERIENCE:
5 or more years of oil and gas accounting experience 2 or more years of experience with TIPS Gas Plant Accounting System
