SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

Our client, a fast growing, publicly traded corporation has a new role for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team due to a promotion.

Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for complex financial analysis and reporting including evaluating multifaceted financial information, preparing reports indicating trends, providing recommendations to management and responding to inquiries for professional counsel related to financial information.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Inventory Control


• Performing Inventory reconciliation


• Material movement types analysis


• Physical inventory review


• Internal and external audits for inventory value testing.


• Develops complex models for analyzing new business opportunities, efficiency initiatives, or other business issues


• Develops presentations and leads presentations/training


• Leads team in preparation for management reviews and budgeting activities, as required


• Analyzes trends


• Designs, writes, tests and maintains management reports


• Develops/coordinates robust testing plans for new enhancements.


• Preparation for management reviews and budgeting activities, as required


• Tests and maintains management reports

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Finance; Prefer MBA
  
• 5+ years relevant financial analytics experience.
  
• Requires knowledge of Accounting, General Ledgers, and Inventory 

• Ability to use computer applications effectively, especially financial systems, spreadsheets, and related graphics
  
• Access, Excel, Business Objects skills are required
