Responsibilities * Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related management reports and the annual Business Plan, including sales and profitability of product lines * Complete monthly closing activity related to inventory, inventory reserve and quality assurance spending and related management reports * Develop annual standard costs * Lead semi-annual physical inventory * Reconcile intercompany inventory transactions and cross-charges for financial statements elimination and proper accounting treatment * Review and approve changes to Bills of Material for new and existing products * Prepare monthly variance analysis reporting * Support the business units expense and cost budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis process * Oversee the application of cost accounting theory and works with external auditors to ensure that cost accounting & reporting adheres to GAAP standards Requirements * CMA, CGA designated or in final stages * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area * 5 years experience with a minimum of 2 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment * Excellent Excel skills and the ability to work with relational databases * Strong analytical skills * Manufacturing variance analysis experience (must) * The ability to work independently with attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects are essential * As this position requires considerable interaction with cross functional teams, the successful candidate must have strong influencing skills and excellent communication and presentation skills Category Accounting $ 70-80KApplyTell A Friend
