In this role, you will participate in and manage complex financial analysis reports and projects. Using a broad knowledge of financial practices and procedures, you will provide strategy recommendations to management.

Job Summary
Independently participates in the development and production of critical analysis and reporting of financial and operational results in relation to financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and prior year results. Identifies and works to help resolve issues as they arise. Work closely with internal and external auditors, various Liberty Mutual Group (LMG) departments, and Liberty International field operations during audit planning and year-end audit.


Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for various month-end book close and monthly analysis tasks.
2. Responsible for standard and ad hoc monthly and quarterly reporting to various LIberty Mutual Group departments.
3. Be a lead contact for internal and external audit process during audit planning and year-end audit to ensure timely issuing of signed audited financial statements.
4. Responsible for the analysis of International operation(s) monthly financial submission.
5. Oversee maintenance and controls of financial systems and continuously improve operational processes.
6. Actively participates in department and/or cross-functional projects of low to moderate scope.
7. Assist with various ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with strong accounting skills.
? A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting/finance related experience is required.
? Ability to meet deadline while providing quality products is required.
? Public accounting experience is preferred.
? Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
? Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
? Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and decision making abilities.
