Senior Financial Analyst ICAAP
Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to focus on the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP). This position is with a stable growing bank in the greater Philadelphia market. This position is primarily responsible for creating / improving models to measure and monitor risk to capital. The selected individual will assume an important role in the establishment and governance of the ICAAP. This position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Main Duties: * Guide and help Finance, Risks, and Line of Businesses in the implementation of approved process and controls, models, solutions, methodologies, parameters, etc * Provide capital analysis of targets to the Mergers and Acquisitions of the New Products and Pricing Strategies Team * Undertake ad hoc, priority projects as requested by the Capital Management Team
The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: * A 4 year Degree in Accounting or Finance (an MBA is a plus) * 5+ years of related experience to include business Risk Management, analysis, testing, and/or regulatory reporting (Basel rules will be an added advantage) * Strong PC and data management skills are required - Excel expert * Analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly * High degree of personal initiative * Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills * Experience in process modeling and data modeling is an added advantage
