Title: Senior Financial Analyst - Fidelity Real Estate Company Location: TX-Westlake The Senior Financial Analyst provides the full range of financial analysis and decision support for the Real Estate properties across the portfolio. The Analyst partners with the members of FREC's departments to provide the financial analysis necessary to operate the company's 10 million s.f. real estate portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities * Extensive modeling of project cash flows and the resulting impacts on the business units and the company. * Analysis of business unit demand and resulting FREC strategy for the space portfolio and data center capacity and utilization. * Analysis of capital and operating expense trends across the portfolio and offering of solutions to improve efficiencies. * Provide detailed financial reporting on and accountability of the major capital projects across the portfolio. * Provide financial leadership and stewardship across the organization and insure financial discipline is incorporated in major decisions. * Preparation of the financial portions of the annual business plan. * Creation of models to proactively provide decision support. * Creation of relevant financial statements and management reporting. * Special projects as identified will compose the majority of ongoing daily responsibilities. * Continually evaluate processes to determine and implement best practices for service delivery.
Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required. Master's degree and/or CPA is strongly preferred. * At least 10 years of related finance/accounting experience.
Skills and Knowledge * Financial model creation and utilization, budget and pro forma forecast preparation and analysis, and financial reporting. * Complete cash flow models in order to provide decision-making support that will allow FREC to deliver optimal workplace solutions for Fidelity's core business as well as set real estate strategy for the firm. * Interact with the members of the other departments of FREC with emphasis on the Project Management and Operations groups, and peers in other Fidelity service companies such as Corporate Accounting, Legal, Tax, Supply Management and the like. * Proactively identify areas requiring financial analysis and reactively respond to analysis requests. * Possess the analytical skills required to complete projects and the presentation skills to provide succinct, accurate reports to audiences including the CFO and President of FREC. * complete cash flow models in order to provide decision-making support that will allow FREC to deliver optimal workplace solutions for Fidelity's core business as well as set real estate strategy for the firm. * Proactively identify areas requiring financial analysis and reactively respond to analysis requests.
