Financial Analyst Business Transformation
General Summary:
This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by providing financial analysis, financial modeling and reporting to the Business Transformation team.
This role will support comprehensive financial reporting and planning strategy for the Business Transformation function as well as developing and implementing reporting tools, processes and controls to effectively track and analyze integration related cost savings in excess of $450 million known as synergies. Responsibilities also include directly supporting both the Director and VP of Business Transformation, analyzing financial and operational data points and drawing conclusions from these results and data trends.
Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for weekly and periodic reporting on financial data for synergies and costs and drawing conclusions from business trends Creating extensive financial models and other ad hoc analysis tools Directly supporting the Annual and Quarterly Planning process and Period Forecasting process by gathering and analyzing financial data on synergies and costs on various project initiatives across the organization Implementing and coordinating internal control processes including financial diagnostics tools Reviewing and validating synergy recognition in the financial statements and implementing business tools to facilitate timely and efficient financial reviews Creating executive level presentations by pulling data and relevant information together and putting in presentation form using PowerPoint Presenting & discussing performance results with Business Transformation Team
Qualifications
Basic Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting A minimum of four years of previous Finance experience Strong finance and financial modeling experience Excellent communication skills Solid reporting or planning/forecasting experience Proficient at mining and analyzing across very large data pools Understanding of bottom line profitability drivers
Preferred Job Qualifications:
MBA Proficiency in Access, Excel, Business Objects, Pivot models, Power Point Previous finance/accounting experience within the consumer products industry
