We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Associate, Global Mobility Advisory Services to join us in our Seattle office.
KPMG's International Executive Services (IES) practice strives to help companies as they work to manage their international assignment programs. When our clients send their employees on international assignment, KPMG professionals provide proactive planning ideas and advise clients on international human resources and tax best practices. IES provides compliance, advisory, and administration services to help support our clients' businesses and assignees.
Responsibilities:
. Serve as day-to-day contact/resource for client controller, client coordinator, third-party vendors and other personnel . Deliver service utilizing KPMG technology tools and according to standards established by service level agreements . Provide support and services related to the financial reporting of the clients assignment program including: - annual budgeting - invoicing to assignment program receiving locations - assist in monthly closing process - assist in generation of financial statements - support of annual audit process - assist in forecasting process . Prepare client correspondence on various accounting matters . Advise the client on policy and process changes as appropriate . Review, analyze, and track expatriate payroll, compensation, benefits, global mobility and other assignment-related issues . Develop training and communications materials . Advise on enhancement or improvement to client's administration of services
Qualifications:
. Two years of experience in financial accounting . Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation or Audit from an accredited college/university . Experience in related entity transactions . Ability to review financial statements . Ability to supervise and offer guidance to staff . Excellent written and verbal communication skills
