We are currently looking for a Senior Controller, Brand Operations to ensure transparency of Brand Operations and assigned GOPS functions' performance, cost and service levels. Partner with the business to visualize impact and dependencies of core cost and service drivers enabling best practice sharing and fact based decision making. Support Brand Operations strategy development and implementation through leading all business case developments on our company's side.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure transparency on cost and cost drivers of Brand Operations and assigned GOPS functions through cost management (OPEX, COGS, CAPEX) of the assigned budget by budgeting and forecasting, reporting actual costs, explaining cost deviations, and identifying savings potential.
Support the heads of cost centers as trusted advisor. Get involved in all important decisions within the assigned business areas to ensure budget compliance and avoid inefficiencies.
Cooperate closely with all supporting functions (e.g. Accounting, HR). Develop and apply standardized and harmonized methods and tools for advanced budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking.
Develop and implement global Brand Operations key performance indicators utilizing existing project management methods for a global performance tracking of Creation Centers (e.g. Workload, Buying volume, FOB development, Go In Margin).
Build up networking with related cross functional teams.
Manage business case development of Brand Operations projects and investments by challenging, identifying and quantifying improvement potential; cascading business cases into project budgets including project budget controlling support and business case target follow-up (full project life-cycle support); and enabling one-stop shopping for consistency
Actively communicate and implement performance management direction and strategy for the Brand Operations organization; identify change management requirements and derive effective measures for business transformation
Supervise and manage the Brand Operations Performance Management team and related members. Facilitate and foster a continuous learning and development environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
A four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of Business Administration (Marketing Management, Controlling), Engineering (Product development) or similar education
5+ years of work experience in related field; alternatively, 3+ years of relevant
Performance Management/Product Development experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and efficiently with all levels of the business
Strong analytical skills
Strong result orientation and pro-activity
Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
Knowledge of end-to-end development processes
Advanced user skills in SAP-CO/PA, Business Intelligence (SAP BW, IBM Cognos et al.)
Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and Access
Enjoy working in a dynamic and ambitious multinational team
