Position Summary:
We have a need in the Public Sector Services Financial Advisory practice for a Senior Manager or Director level individual. This position can be based out of Indianapolis, Chicago/Oak Brook, or Columbus, OH. The primary duties of this position lie within the Client Service / Account Management area. This position requires thought leadership with regard to regulatory matters in the tax exempt finance area. Demand Creation is a key part of the role since the FA practice must resell its revenue each year. The individual needs to have in-depth experience in the following areas:
Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Candidate should have the abilityto interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion. Individual should possess strong leadership skills. They need to be able to effectively supervise and lead a team. In addition, the individual needs to have experience in business development and in public speaking. It is important that the candidate has hands on experience with municipal finance software. They should also have familiarity with arbitrage and escrow verification reporting.
Four year degree in accounting or finance is required. Candidates with advanced degree, such as MBA, or appropriate certification or license, such as CPA, Securities license, Underwriters license, or other Financial Advisory certifications will be preferred. Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years of applicable experience. Government experience is required.
