Within this context, we help our clients: * Assess competitiveness of current pay and program features relative to the market and to the organization's specific circumstances * Design short-term and long-term incentive programs that reinforce strategic objectives * Design financial performance measurement and target setting systems to support these incentive programs * Assess the implications of equity incentive programs, including financial cost and dilutive impact * Establish/modify processes for corporate governance in light of best practice, shareholder concerns, etc. * Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments and their implications Principal duties: As a Senior Human Capital Consultant you will have several roles, including project manager, technical specialist, client advisor, business developer and staff developer. The responsibilities of the position include: * Structuring, directing, reviewing, and interpreting analyses performed by the project team. * Providing guidance to team members. * Providing consulting services to Compensation Committees and senior management on the development of compensation programs that align rewards with business objectives. * Managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Building and maintaining strong client relationships. * Generating revenue through development of new client relationships. * Developing, evaluating, and mentoring more junior staff. * Minimum of five years' experience in finance or finance-related consulting (with specific experience in broad base compensation a plus) or compensation in a large corporate environment. * Experience working with leading public and private companies in a variety of industries consulting on compensation strategy development, competitive pay evaluation, pay/performance links, incentive program design (annual and long-term), equity strategy, change in control planning, mergers and acquisitions, board compensation and other issues. * Excellent analytical skills. * Strong finance and accounting skills. * Effective writing and presentation skills. * Proven project management skills. * Creative problem-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to function well in a team environment. * Bilingualism an asset.
