Billion dollar global financial / insurance conglomerate, seeks (degree a +) entrepreneur with 8+ years experience handling and analyzing primary, excess, and assumed reinsurance claims; (primary and excess) Understand legal concepts with reference to insurance and claim management, reconciliation, and commutation. Interface with various departments and communicate with external and internal customers as well as participating in special projects. Prepare analytical reports and surveys. Manage and resolve Treaty and Facultative claims on varied book businesses. Proactively manage assigned broker or ceding company account claims. Prepare correspondence and participate and conduct audits / claims reviews to generate information to assure accurate reserve, claims, and reports. Interface with claims department, accountants, and underwriters to evaluate and process coverage, reserves, and claims payments. Should have multi-line reinsurance background, such as, asbestos, hazardous materials, property, etc.
