Senior Business Manager
Responsible for providing direction to all assigned business management personnel for the programs in the functional areas of budgeting, accounting, program cost schedule and control, Earned Valued Management System (EVMS), and financial analysis. Prepares financial plans and monitors the implementation of financial policies. Provides analysis on business development and monitors business performance. Duties will also include developing business management strategies, coordinating proposal activities through negotiation, participating in risk identification and mitigation plans, and financial activities including monthly forecasting and developing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP). Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect subordinate organizational units and programs. Strong emphasis will be placed on metrics development and implementation.
Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree. Position requires ten (10) years relevant experience in Cost/Schedule control, development of business strategies, EVMS, LRSP and AOP. Must have strong business acumen, leadership and negotiation skills, as well as demonstrated ability to work proactively within an extremely fluid environment. The candidate must possess a broad skill-set that allows them to interact internally and externally with equal ease and effectiveness while ensuring that the programs move forward on-schedule and within cost. Budget management is essential.
