This position develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and portfolio data scrubs for exceptions to ensure portfolio information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to management. Performs forecasting and reconciliation of portfolio exceptions. Responsibilities: * Strength in quantitative analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, and innovation. * Ability to understand and work with and develop complex financial products and systems. * Able to effective question all aspects of scenario and understand the details behind the numbers and/or processes involved. * Adaptable to deadlines, multiple changes in priorities, exceed under pressure, extremely detailed oriented, highly organized, and effectively organize/present data. * Strong mathematical skills. * A solid knowledge of PC Applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and * Project) along with reporting applications such as Access, SQL other similar reporting applications. * Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently. * Partner with business leaders to determine areas in need of process improvement. * Able to effectively define project objectives and assemble project team. * Prepare and maintain project plan and list all tasks and dependencies. * Develop business requirements and obtain user signoff. * Manage UAT process and monitor expected results for specified time. * Review Mortgageserv periodic enhancements to ensure no impact to previous Supervisory Responsibilities: * Management of reporting and analytic junior-to-mid level personnel. * Team and project leadership on a per initiative basis as assigned.
Qualifications: Beginning to Intermediate SQL skills. Education * B.A. or B.S. degree or 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training. Work Experience: * Prior work experience in project management and report development required. Computer Software Skills: * Outlook * Word * Excel * PowerPoint * Access * Scheduling Applications * SQL Queries, Reporting Services, and Analytic Services Other Skills: * Mortgage industry experience preferred.
