Title Senior Auditor Job Reference # 53691BR Location Singapore City Singapore Function Category Audit Business Divisions Corporate Center Job Type Full Time Description The role is for an experienced professional to join the Investment Bank Audit Team within the UBS Group Internal Audit Department. Based in Singapore, the successful applicant would be part of a dynamic team covering UBS Investment Bank's activities throughout Singapore and South Asia. From time to time, you will also be closely cooperating with colleagues in other locations within and outside of APAC when covering a part of the business through a global review. This role requires about 20-25% travel primarily within APAC. Key tasks and responsibilities include: * Planning, executing and reporting the results of business audits. * Analysing and assessing the risks (market, credit, operational, legal and compliance etc) assumed by the business. * Identifying and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls designed to address those risks. * Performing data analysis to support risk assessment and control evaluation. * Providing practical, innovative, and value-adding solutions to issues identified, and * Preparation of reports of review findings for UBS senior management at local, global functional and Group level. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to all Investment Bank products, including trading and investment banking activities. Whilst the role is for an experienced financial services auditor, structured product training will be provided as part of a core training program. Requirements Our ideal candidates should have the following requisites: * At least 5 years of relevant experience in either a top investment bank, or a big 4 audit firm (with relevant financial services experience) * University Degree. MBA preferred. Accountancy qualification or similar (CFA). * Experience of risk focused controls/systems based auditing techniques * Good knowledge of Investment Bank products, systems and processes * Experience in data analytical tools or software * Knowledge of capital and financial markets regulations * Knowledge of compliance and legal requirements for investment bank activities and awareness of the key issues facing the investment bank industry * Project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are viewed as essential. * Open to travel (20-25%) primarily within APAC.
