MTSI is seeking an Analyst to support the development and execution of Space Operations plans for U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) to bring a synchronized and integrated approach to Space Operations in order to provide continued force enhancement and maintain freedom of action in space for the United States and its allies.
Job Description:
· Provide analysis, planning, coordination, and implementation of the mission area, focusing on force enhancement and space control, to support the development and execution of Space Operations Plans. This includes utilizing the JOPES and JPEC processes involving mission analysis, COA development, commander’s estimate development, plan reviews and updates.
· Support the development of executable concepts of operations (CONOPS), as well as the development of operations and execution orders (OPORDS/EXORDS).
· Provide technical analysis and subject matter expertise for Space Operations, including space control, supporting USSTRATCOM and other combatant commanders.
· Support space operations efforts including crisis action planning and integration of space operations into contingency plans; analyze and recommend supported/supporting command relationships, support exercise scenario development; develop Lessons Learned/After Action data from operations, training, and exercises.
· Conduct technical research, review and analyze current plans, assess for adequacy, redundancy, or problems and recommend ways to improve and synchronize plans as well as improvements to the planning process.
Requirements:
· 10-15 years of experience and/or education in space operations, including space control and force enhancement.
· Full understanding of crisis action and contingency planning and familiarization with adaptive planning to include JOPES and JPEC processes; high-level expertise in analysis of military plans and concept of operations development.
· Current knowledge and experience in headquarters staffing and recent experience and/or education directly related to space operations.
· Possess the ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) and be able to present arguments in a clear and logical manner. Demonstrated strengths in critical thinking, collaboration, technical writing, preparation of high-quality technical documents and briefs for publication or distribution.
· Moderate experience with Microsoft Office Suite as well the operation of collaborative web-based tools.

Educational Requirements:
· Bachelors degree in a related area is required. Masters degree is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
· Top Secret clearance is required. Eligible for SCI.
