Senior Analyst of Real Estate Asset Management
Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Senior Analyst of Real Estate Asset Management to be responsible for a several portfolios of assisted living properties and to work with the VPs and Directors on portfolio analytics and budgeting. The Asset Management Department's mission is to provide a commercial awareness to our operating teams through property and market knowledge. To drive portfolio performance, decision making and compliance on behalf of our capital partners, lenders and ourselves. The Asset Manager must develop and maintain a strong relationship with the capital partner and operating teams to ensure fulfillment of the mission.
Responsibilities include capital partner reporting, budget and capex preparation and oversight, cash distribution management, analysis of community and portfolio results, and valuation analysis. Asset manager will also travel to the properties to develop a working knowledge of the team, property, competition, market, and regulatory issues. Asset Manager must ensure compliance with all elements of JV, Management, and Lender agreements. Asset Manager must participate in capital partner monthly and quarterly operating review meetings and monthly presentations to Sunrise executives on operating performance and be able to proactively identify problems and opportunities within the portfolio. Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in asset management and property financial analysis. Must have a BS/BA degree, excellent analytical skills, be highly organized, and have strong computer, verbal and written skills. Candidates for Chartered Financial Analyst are preferred. Experience analyzing and assessing real estate investment and disposition strategies required.
