DESCRIPTION:
Senior Analyst of Corporate Finance will report to the Vice President, Corporate Finance and Risk Management and will focus on the corporate capital structure, risk management (interest rates and foreign exchange) and some corporate development activities. Primary responsibilities include data analysis, financial modeling, document negotiation, project management and presentation preparation for senior management/board of directors.
Aids in preparation for and execution of capital market and corporate development transactions
Helps manage relationships with banks and rating agencies
Develops and maintains model for Interpublic cashflow projections
Manages foreign exchange and interest rate exposures, including implementation of new worldwide global management tools
Oversees company-wide working capital program
Organizes Treasury and Corporate Development contributions to SEC filings
Participates in corporate finance related special projects
Works closely with other departments such as accounting, tax and legal, as well as with local advertising agency senior management
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-4+ years relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting or private equity
Bachelors degree
Strong finance, analytical, problem-solving skills & excellent verbal & written communication skills
Proactive style of project management
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and work efficiently against tight deadlines. Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities
Ability to collaborate and build credibility across multiple lines of business and corporate functions
