This individual will complete all monthly, quarterly, and related year-end journal entries. Other functions include: * Produce analysis to support the understanding of the monthly entries* Assist in the preparation of the company's monthly financial package* Conduct monthly balance sheet analysis and reconciliation* Complete external auditors' requests* Work closely with an IT Project Manager to track capital expenditures across the businesses* Assist in the development of reporting and performance tracking documents for a variety of programs* Develop contract summaries and accounting process documentation* Lead or assist with varying finance, accounting, or other special projects* Perform a variety of ad hoc assignments working directly with senior managementQualified candidates will have the following attributes: * A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field* Preference will be given to someone with an advanced degree* Experience working with companies with a product or inventory* Exposure to working with various revenue analytics, procurement, flow of inventory and logistics* Excellent communications skills* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain organized
