SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ANALYST, NEWPORT BEACH, CA
Professional firm seeks a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst. This role will be responsible of the analysis of complex financial data and creation of monthly reports to support the CFO. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 4 to 6 years of general accounting experience up to financial statement preparation. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc), Access and PowerPoint is required. MAS90 and Corporate Tax experience is a plus.
Senior Accountant JOB DESCRIPTION:
Bank reconciliations
Journal Entries
Preparation and maintenance of budgets and financial ratios
Preparation of multi-level financial statements and consolidated financial statements
Preparation of special reports related to client and staff performance
Special projects related to job and staff costing and profit analysis
Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accounts
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedule
Expense and Cost Containment Analysis
Consolidation and analysis of monthly financial results, forecasts, budget vs. actual account, annual operating plan
Development of financial models to assist in analyzing operating plan
Other special projects, financial analysis and ad hoc reports
Requirements:
