SEC Financial Reporting Manager
We are currently performing a search for a SEC Financial Reporting Manager with a nationally recognized company based in Tampa Bay which is a leader in its industry. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SEC Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for the following:
Participate in the preparation of SEC reports, including quarterly 10Q reports and 10K forms (annual reports), 8Ks and all other ad hoc registration statements.
Coordinate the review of filings with external auditors, outside legal counsel, accounting personnel and executive management.
Research and document technical accounting issues for senior management and external auditors, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, and contract accounting issues.
Responsible for documenting the Company’s financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and conducting all GAAP research as needed to ensure that the Company’s financial reporting decisions are properly supported.
Participate and support in SOX compliance.
Requirements:
Requires 5+ years in public accounting/auditing experience or equivalent, including SEC financial reporting experience.
Proven ability to conduct GAAP technical research and maintain proper documentation.
Be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability and professional development.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal, supervisory, analytical and communication skills.
Current or prior Big-4 experience preferred
