Title: Retail Lending Credit Risk Analyst Location: UT - West Valley Cit Zions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for our Retail Lending Credit Risk Analyst position in our Retail Lending Systems Administration group located in West Valley City, UT. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
* Perform complex credit risk analysis and/or modeling to maximize profits and asset growth * Minimize credit and operating losses and other risk exposures * Provide analytical support segmenting and monitoring credit, concentration limits, etc. and make recommendations based on trends * Make strategic recommendations * Develop complex programming models to extract and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling * Develop and maintain reports * Perform other duties as assigned * Requires a Bachelor's and 2 years experience with data bases, risk analysis, statistical modeling and general lending or other directly related experience * A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications * 2 years SAS programming experience preferred * Previous experience developing credit risk models preferred * 2 years reporting experience preferable with a financial service institution * Ability to summarize data and statistical results to all levels of management a plus * Relational database experience * Must have strong analytical, technical, customer service and communication skills * Knowledge of report writing and lending systems * Ability to work with various department and vendors * A team player with experience working in a team environment and strong ability to manage relationships with other departments and vendors Zions Bancorporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer
