Job Description
As the Residential Mortgage Backed Sec. Product Control, you will:
Ensure the daily PNL is reconciled from the Front Office System to the Back Office System for positions, prices, factors, paydowns, and net interest
Accurately reporting and explaining income and balance sheet numbers to traders, senior management and ensuring the books and records of the firm are accurate
Report daily/weekly/monthly commentary for the entire business as well as daily risk explains
Be involved in all internal and external audits, SOX reporting, FAS 157, and IFRS7
Monitor compliance with stop loss limits and trader mandates and new business support
Supervise staff supporting RMBS
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in accounting
5+ years of Product Control with a focus in any Mortgage product
Proficiency with Mortgage Backed Securities, Monthly Profit & Loss, Month-end Close, Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, Daily Profit & Loss
