Reinsurance Accounting Supervisor
Please have Marine Insurance Experience
Support Chief Reinsurance Officer for financial reporting and reinsurance function:
o monthly losses and reinstatement premium reports
o major catastrophe analysis
o quarterly divisional financial closing
o quarterly schedule 57 CAT report
o reinsurance remediation projects
Analyze the reinsurance programs (Facultative, Quota Share, and XOL) and assist the divisional presidents for treaty renewals:
o treaty premium and loss historical data analysis
o treaty premium projection
Liaise with brokers and reinsurers and attend to the requests from internal and external third parties.
Communicate with International Reinsurance group to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Global treaty statement renderment and balance settlement.
Assist the comptrollers in completing statutory schedule filing:
o quarterly Schedule 13 filing
o annual Schedule F filing
o general ledgers and sub-ledgers reconciliation
Coordinate audit including providing supporting schedules and analyses.
Support ongoing production as well as changes and enhancements to financial reporting.
Desired Skills/Experience:
5+ years reinsurance accounting experience.
Must have STAT, Schedule 13 & Schedule F experience.
Must have a BA degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).
Must have general ledger and sub ledger reconciliation experience.
