Marsh is seeking a Registration Facilitator for the Event Management team in New York.
Position Overview:
Responsible for the successful management and execution of global event websites utilizing the StarCite technology.
Includes consultation, design and maintenance of online registration websites.
Support a combination of client-facing and internal company meetings and events to ensure all aspects of online registration and attendee management related to each event are planned, confirmed and executed.
Responsibilities:
Build event registration websites based on presented requirements. Approximately 60 sites a year.
Maintain registration sites (manage change requests and updates)
Manage and execute event communications via registration website
Provide detailed reporting (ad-hoc, custom and third-party reporting needs)
Data and Metrics reporting to Event Planners and Management, as requested
Ensure brand compliance in all websites and communications
Badge Printing
Support other system users as needed
Operate housing management as it pertains to the event websites
Provide housing pickup on a weekly basis; or as required by event planner
Facilitate housing reconciliation
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
5 - 7 years experience in web development and data management.
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced corporate environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards.
Strong organizational skills, leadership qualities and the ability to work as part of a team.
Must possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
Experience in the Meetings/Events/Travel Industry is a plus.
Hospitality background preferred.
Knowledge of HTML/DHTML, JavaScript and CSS and experience designing for Web 2.0 functionality is desired.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Image Editing Software.
Exceptional Excel data management skills
Strong Word skills, including mail merge
BA/BS preferred or significant relevant work experience.
