Job Summary:
Responsible for managing an assigned region of branch offices and licensed sales personnel. Reports to CEO of UBIS but works closely with Regional Managing Director of Wealth Markets to manage all sales activities within the assigned UBIS and Wealth Market Region
Major Responsibilities:
Manage sales personnel assigned to designated region. Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, and on-going managerial support of a sales staff ranging from 30-50 licensed personnel. Work closely with other Wealth Market employees in the region to create and drive overall sales results throughout the region.
Responsible for ensuring that all NASD, SEC, BSA, AML enhanced due diligence are complied with, maintain OSJ regulatory requirements, and bank regulations are followed in the prescribed manner.
Verify that representatives maintain correct and accurate customer records and update them as required and as necessary.
Monitor the sales processes of inside sales reps by soliciting information from a random number of customers on a monthly basis to ensure satisfaction and regulatory adherence. Consistently coach sales personnel in one-on-one meetings, monthly sales meetings, and telephone support as needed.
Work with representatives to build a solid network of referral generation. Utilize internal and external personnel to Union Banks best interest and work with all internal partners to create a strong partnership.
Work with senior management to ensure all budgeted goals for revenue and sales are met on an annual basis.
Communicate with all bank internal partners to develop joint activities and management routines. Responsible for a good flow of information to and from the retail / wealth managers and area executives.
Additional Information:
Track record of successful sales experience for a minimum of five years. Demonstrate collaboration and the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients and prospects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A bachelors degree is preferred with five years of business experience and/or proven success in a previous related field. Requires a high level of knowledge in high net worth investment services, products, practices, and general market trends; PC literate.
