Location: South Coast Market
The Regional Manager’s main responsibilities are to promote Rockland Trust and its products through an established network of community contacts, recruit and develop a team of Loan Officers to meet established production goals and be able to take direction from management and convey the importance of the Rockland Trust vision. Production: Maintain personal production to meet or exceed established goals. * Tracking LO efforts to obtain business through referral sources by providing information and training in obtaining qualified referral business. * Monitor and review monthly and quarterly production reports with LO to assure they are on track to meet or exceed established goals. * Monitor and review referral sources monthly with the LO and make necessary revisions as need. (see referral sources) * Establish required attendance to local CRA and bank related events to increase exposure in the market place. * Assist in developing a business plan for each loan officer Referral Sources
* Outside the Bank: Real Estate Brokers, Attorneys, CPAs, Networking/Business Groups, Investments Specialists, Chamber Events, Local Community * Inside the Bank: Branch Referrals, Commercial, Business Development, Investment Management Group, Telephone inquiries resulting from Advertising * Current Customer Base: Thank you notes, monthly mailers, correspondence throughout the application process and post closing. Always ask for additional referrals.
Recruiting: Increase the existing number of qualified Loan Officers in Region to eventually eliminate the dependency on branch referrals and further our establishment in the market as Residential Lenders.
* Maintain an active list of top producers from both mortgage companies and banks * Review and revise list of top producers to be recruited on a monthly basis. * Recruit candidates for Loan Officer University RTC Partners Liason: Educate the RTC Partners (Commercial, Branches, Investment and Business Development) on mortgage products, policies and procedures. Establish a better partnership relationship with these departments by attending their meetings and taking their suggestions into consideration. Take a leading role in developing referrals to and from the respective departments within the bank. Required Experience
We require at least 5 years of proven track record of mortgage management and sales experience, the ability to grow the business unit, a strong attention to detail and the ability to recruit and motivate Originators.
