Radio-Frequency Lead Engineer
Title: Radio-Frequency Lead Engineer Location: Maryland-Aberdeen
Key Role: Conduct independent technical investigations involving the analysis and characterization of complex electronic hardware devices and systems. Design and develop test methodologies, capabilities, and test equipment configurations. Design and develop hardware circuits and supporting test software. Collect, organize, analyze, and document results for assigned projects. Provide technical leadership to other team members and coordinate the efforts of technical personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronic technicians, as required. Maintain responsibility for evaluating a vendor's capability to provide systems and services in support of the project and maintain task coordination and management. Contribute recognized functional expertise to client deliverables. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD. Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with hardware design -3 years of experience in a lead engineering role -3 years of experience with digital signal processing -3 years of experience with radio-frequency (RF) circuit theory and design -Experience with RF test equipment -Knowledge of communications systems and messaging protocols -Active Secret clearance -BS degree in EE
Additional Qualifications: -Experience with LabVIEW or equivalent test automation programming -Experience with supporting the DoD, including the Army -Experience with international shipping -Experience with MATLAB -Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers, including microchip PIC and Atmel AVR -Active TS/SCI clearance -MS degree in EE
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
