Project Analysts are an integral part of our service delivery. Project Controllers are a group of smart, talented finance professional responsible for analyzing and reporting on our financial results. They provide engagement management support for project teams by assisting with the organizational and logistical aspects of projects. They specialize in project and account operations and serve as the focal point for aspects of engagement, program, and account management control.
As a Project Analyst, you will support teams on client engagements in a variety of industries providing you with the opportunity to develop broad business consulting skills or specialized skills. You will work across a variety of business functions gaining increased responsibilities through multiple experiences requiring you to demonstrate new skills and capabilities. Primary activities include financial analysis, budget and forecasting analysis, monitoring project expenditures, maintaining compliance with firm policies, financial reconciliations, conducting variance analysis, and managing the project billing and receivables processes. Project Analysts will have multiple opportunities to be active in the community and their local office through a variety of volunteer activities such as Impact Day and other community service initiatives.
You will initially have the opportunity to attend our Project Controller School which is designed to help you begin to build your network of Project Controller colleagues. This School provides you with opportunities to understand better your new role as well as develop your knowledge and the skills critical to your performance. To keep your career development on track and to help steer your continued growth, we provide you with on-going mentoring and counseling, additional professional training, and an evaluation process. Your career advancement within the firm is dependent on your performance and ability, not length of uirements
. To qualify for our Project Analyst Program, you should possess the following: . Undergraduate degree . 3.2 cumulative GPA strongly preferred with equal or stronger performance in your major(s) . Demonstrated academic performance . Understand basic accounting and finance principles . Microsoft Office skills, including: . Excel (intermediate to advanced levels) . PowerPoint (intermediate level) . Word (intermediate level) . Outlook, and/or other office suite software . Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and address problems creatively . Ability to work as a member of a team . Excellent written and oral communication skills . Attention to detail and timelines in delivering commitments . Skilled in problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution . Ability to work in fast-paced environment . Ability and willingness to travel
