Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI is looking for experienced business and financial analysts for a Navy Surface Ship business and financial management opportunity. The successful candidates will participate in the implementation, integration, tracking, and management of financial resources, processes, reporting, and analysis spanning several Navy programs. These Analysts will prepare, participate in, and/or manage financial reviews, studies and analyses, preparation and execution of project budgets, and optimize process use and compatibility with Navy, NAVSEA, and Warfare Center processes and policies. These Analysts will provide business, financial, and related administrative support services for government business office managers and staff and technical program Directors.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Prepare assessment and effectiveness reports for strategic planning and financial operations
Prepare program budget documentation and maintain budget planning information
Prepare and support budget planning and documentation including financial management plans, program plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), budget and resource allocation plans, impact assessments and reports, and point papers
Receive, review, process, and track program funding documents. Adjust funding allocations as directed by Program Director
Assist the Program Director in resource use planning and forecasting
Track and report work/project status and completion in the Financial Tracking System
Participate in multidisciplinary study teams
Conduct status reviews and independent cost and budget assessments. Plot
Recommend business and administrative procedures and process changes that support integrated business practices
Recommend and implement improvements that can realize efficiencies through enhanced processes and cost savings measures
Maintain detailed financial metrics
Required Qualifications: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or finance and two to four years (three to five years preferred) of business/financial analyst or manager experience. This experience must include:
* At least two years of specific Navy/NAVSEA program support experience. * Knowledge of various government funding documents used to manage and transfer funds within the government * Ability to prepare, evaluate, and manage budget plans and allocate funds against budget elements * Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing * Experience with common financial processes and tools and integrated financial resource planning and management practices * Experience with the application and use of EVMS tools and techniques * Knowledge of government budgeting processes * Current Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with NAVSEA/Navy Warfare Center Contractor Expense Reporting System (CERS)
Experience working business/financial management tasks for NAVSEA and/or Navy Warfare Centers
Familiarity with NAVSEA Wide Area Workflow and NAVSEA/Navy Warfare Center use of the Integrated Budget , Planning, and Execution System (IBPES) tool
Familiarity with US Navy shipboard combat systems terminology
