Product Lifecycle & Logistics Manager
Manage the product lifecycle for product portfolio including, but not limited to forecasting, launch planning, and inventory management of product placements to support US field sales organization. Oversee logistics planning and implementation between Affiliate Manufacturers and US Distribution teams. • Develop and track product life cycle plans to support strategic product portfolio management. • Build collaborative relationships with the Affiliate Manufacturing, Field Sales and Operations, Marketing and Distribution to support forecasts, product launches, obsolescence and promotions. • Support US Distribution and Affiliate Manufacturing in demand planning activities.
Qualifications/Work Experience
• 2- 5 years Supply Chain, Marketing and/or Finance experience. • Demonstrated MS Excel and Power Point skills. • Demonstrated experience with Oracle ERP and iSource systems preferred. • Demonstrated verbal and interpersonal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. • Demonstrated situational leadership, high accountability and responsibility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities (detailed descriptions) • Develop and track product life cycle plans to support strategic product portfolio management. • Build collaborative relationships with the Affiliate Manufacturing, Field Sales and Operations, Marketing and Distribution to support forecasts, product launches, obsolescence and promotions. • Support US Distribution and Affiliate Manufacturing in demand planning activities. • Identify and track performance metrics, including days in inventory, instrument placement budget, and financial asset metrics. • Manage planning, launches and financial/ inventory projections. • Partner with Field Operations to develop and implement effective field inventory management strategies. • Develop novel processes and programs to improve supply chain and logistics effectiveness. • Collaborate with Product Marketing in late stage Voice of Customer activities to optimize product set configurations and distribution tactics. • Oversee the development and implementation of product obsolescence and phase in/ phase out activities. • Train Sales and Marketing personnel on corporate inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes responsibility and direct contribution to the organization and work team.
Education and/or Special Training
Bachelor's degree is required. Preferred M.S. or M.B.A
