Description

Education/Experience
* Requires a bachelor’s degree in associated industry – business degree is desirable.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DoD environment using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Supplement to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR).
* Successful candidate will develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
* Will conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis.
* Will create/administer pricing databases and coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
* Will perform pricing for new business opportunities, scope changes to incumbent contracts, delivery/task/work orders, budgetary estimates, strategic target analyses, and funding estimates for completion.
* Must be able to review/analyze supplier proposals.
* Will complete proposals (to include narratives), price task orders, interpret and understand Government RFP requirements, collect and prepare cost data, interpret basis of estimates, prepare pricing templates and support audits.
* Should have pricing experience with all contract types; should have experience working all types of proposals. EXPRESS and GSA experience a plus.
Skills
* Must be reliable, organized, and pay attention to detail.
* Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
* Should have strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Desk Top Publishing and Deltek/Costpoint.
* Must have experience in communicating internally and externally via email, performing financial calculations and generating reports.
* Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and respond to tight deadlines.
* Requires strong financial analysis, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience or degree in Contracting and Acquisition Management desired.
