    Our team here at The Mergis Group continues to grow at incredible rates and we know it’s because of our people.  We are currently looking for a Practice Director to oversee our Accounting and Finance Division on the contract side.  



    This person will act as a business partner to the Managing Director in continuing to the build the A&F Practice.  They will bring in orders and candidates to close Contract/Temporary placements while showing their team how it’s down and helping get them up to speed. 

    This is a producing role that also requires strong leadership capabilities.  Although plenty of resources and partnership available, this position has a lot of autonomy and needs an entrepreneurial spirit to be successful.  

    You will work alongside two other Practice Directors, one from Legal and one from Sales & Marketing to share best practices.

    We have now 30 plus people in our San Francisco office with specialty divisions focusing on Legal, Administration, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, and IT.

    We are now #4 in the nation, soon to be #3. We are making clients happy, building candidate loyalty, making tons of money and having a lot of fun doing it! But only because we have been able to hire the RIGHT people. Please let us know if you think you would be a good fit for our team.

• Is looking to “try out recruiting"  or “try out managing"


• Is worried daily about “credit issues" with peers


• Does not want to bring in orders, but just fill the rest of the teams


• Needs  AM and PM meetings daily to stay on track


• Is too scared to point out when it’s too quiet, or not pick up the phone yourself


• Uses the phrase “I wasn’t trained on that"


• Needs an MD to tell you exactly how to run your division!
