This position is responsible for the management of bad debt portfolios, is a key role in forecasting accuracy of charge-off, is responsible for agency management, administration and renegotiation of terms for settlement.
Maintains key reports and data that feed the charge-off forecast and actual losses. Assures all charge-off processes meet regulatory requirements through audit controls. Accountable for data presented to key stakeholders. Audit partnering with Sr Team Leader.
Third party agency management: Prepare all placements, forecast recoveries, manage results and all agency reporting.
Code and prepare accounts for placement into an inactive account receivable. Handle all customer, agency and partner inquiries on the inactive account receivables. Determine proper placement of debt to optimize recoveries: internal, agency, and/ or attorney.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly, cycle, ad-hoc reporting. Including, but not limited to, timelines for large losses and the annual 1099 process.
Provide experiential coaching and mentoring to staff. Senior Team Leader back-up. Bankruptcy management back-up.
