Pension Administrator
Title: Pension Administrator Location: Ontario-Toronto The Pension Administrator works in a team environment to provide high quality administration service to a portfolio of clients, demonstrating outstanding and timely customer service in all dealings with individual client contacts. To fulfill this role, the Pension Administrator will: * Deliver accurate benefits calculations in accordance with established defined benefit pension plan provisions and service agreements * Complete year-end requirements for a group of pension clients * Review financial and membership reconciliations * Prepare the appropriate government forms in accordance with provincial and federal legislation guidelines * Respond to clients' and members' questions with respect to plan provisions, plan options and pension administration * Previous experience working with defined benefit plans and related provincial legislation * Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize is required * Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, accounting, or finance is an asset * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) * Understanding of actuarial principles is an asset * Fluency in French is an asset
