Payroll Assistant 4
Work in a shared services payroll organization responsible for processing approximately 63k employees' nationwide using PeopleSoft payroll and SAP financial software. Core job responsibilities include handling calls from employees, managers and HR; data entry for payroll, timekeeping or labor related transactions; analysis and research of complex payroll processing and employee-level payroll issues to ensure timely and accurate resolution. Assist with the analysis, compilation and completion of payroll, timekeeping and labor issues. Must have excellent and proven payroll experience, good verbal and written communication skills, strong inter-personal and organizational experience to work closely with employees, managers and HR. This position entails heavy phone usage with customers.
Basic Qualifications: High School Degree and six (6) years of hands on Payroll related experience required. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, results oriented and highly analytical.
Preferred Qualifications: PeopleSoft payroll experience, certification or work toward payroll certification.
