The Greysmith Companies is seeking an individual to assist with payroll functions for a well known organization in the Providence area. Duties & Responsibilities: Verification of employee hours Process and data entry of hours into automated system Update confidential employee information Calculate standard deductions Perform weekly reconciliation These payroll processes include both hourly and salaried employees, plus monthly commissions. Additionally, the person who is hired for this position will be assisting with quarterly payroll taxes & year-end taxes. Requirements: Previous software experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, ADP, and Kronos is a plus. Payroll Service Bureau experience is also a great advantage. Ideal applicants will have previous payroll experience, in-house or outsourced. Individuals should be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, enjoy working for an evolving corporation and possess strong written/oral communication skills. Applicants with a background in benefits and 401K will also excel within this position. There are multiple locations for this position. Some locations do provide parking and all locations offer flexible hours.
