A & E CUSTOM MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES, INC, a 50 year old progressive corporation located in Kansas City, Kansas (the Fairfax District) that supplies metal fabrication, metal stamping and tooling services to the manufacturing industry has the need for an experienced payroll administrator.We are seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable professional to provide exceptional payroll services to our employee and our Company.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Processing weekly direct deposit payroll using Epicor ERP software.
Generating data collection reports and process manual time off requests
Completing pay calculation to generate payroll remittances.
Exporting remittance data and create direct deposit transfer file to bank specifications.
Reconciling all payroll deductions and tax deductions for the weekly payroll.
Processing all weekly payroll garnishment checks, federal and state payroll tax filings.
Preparing annual W-2’s, annual W-2 state filing, and annual federal W-2 filing.
Maintaining employee attendance records.
Preparing and transmit all 401(k) withholding payments and year end compliance testing data.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 -5 years of payroll experience with ERP software, and in-depth knowledge of payroll principles.Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 are required.Duties require attention to detail and have time sensitive deadlines.Successful candidate must be able a work well with others in a team environment.
