Payroll Administrator
Directs the accounting and finance function of the School. An integral member of the VASJ Leadership Team, requiring entrepreneurial thinking and the desire/ability to professionally represent the School at both internal and external events. Works with VASJ Leadership Team, Finance Committee, and Diocesan offices to maintain and improve financial operations. The position reports to the President of the school and is responsible for: The accounting process and all relevant reconciliations. Preparation of financial statements and other management reports. Budgeting Cash management Managing the billing and collection of tuition Accounts payable and disbursements Payroll With the President, administer human resource activities. Financial analysis Act as leader in establishing a good internal control environment Be a customer service presence for parents, vendors, and staff The Finance Director supervises one part-time employee in carrying out the finance function. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting required. Must be proficient in computer spreadsheets and other applications, be a self-starter and have good interpersonal skills. QuickBooks and ADP experience desired. CPA or MBA a plus.
