Encadria Staffing Solutions, a Georgia Pacific company is currently recruiting for a Payroll Accountant. This position is a direct-hire.
Payroll accountant duties and responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of payroll accountant are:
A payroll accountant has to prepare and maintain salary accounts and has to ensure that if the salaries of the employs are paid on time.
He or she will also have to ensure that if there is a hike and if it is then salary should be surely revised.
He or she will also have to look for that and have to that every new employee or the member of the department or staff is included in the payroll along with pay details of his or her.
He or she has to keep the records related to salary of all employees and have the salary details and also the proofs of monthly payments.
He or she will have to also take care of deducting tax, insurances and will have to calculate those deductions from the gross salary and at last should pay exact amount every month to the employs.
He or she will have to associate and have to maintain communication with the bank if there is requirement in matters of salaries.
He or she will have to create all the required accounts and will have to create new accounts if necessary
He or she will also have to perform the conducting duties so will have to conduct audits for payrolls
He or she will have to also make a contact to the government labor department and deals with them. At last have to submit payroll information.
He or she will have to train junior staff in payroll account keeping.
He or she will have to ensure that the problem is solved in case of discrepancies
