Payroll Accountant

Payroll Accountant

Successful candidates must have experience in the following in order to be considered:



  • Five or more years of related experience in payroll processing for a payroll of 1000+ employees with multiple entities and multiple state tax jurisdictions

  • Knowledge of Lawson 9.0 HR/Payroll Module a plus

  • Experience with analyzing payroll trends – creating charts and graphs

  • Experience analyzing and generating Labor Distribution Reports

  • Demonstrated experience creating data extracts and/or reports from a system

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and web based applications

  • Demonstrated report writing capabilities, working with Access, and/or Excel Add Ins

  • Demonstrated expertise developing and auditing procedure manuals

  • Auditing experience – exposure to SOX compliance requirements relating to Payroll is a plus

  • Knowledge of payroll methods and best practices

  • Minimum three years experience with Kronos Workforce Central Suite 6.1 or higher

  • Kronos - Contribute in design discussions where architecture decisions are being developed

  • Participates in projects and other activities related to all Kronos modules, from initiation through transition to operations

  • Monitoring and trouble – shooting- Kronos application latencies including Client issues, report engines or queries.

  • Strong written communication skills needed to create and maintain a Kronos Payroll Policies & Procedures Manual

  • Provide support for eLabor as needed

  • Personal commitment to producing the highest quality work

  • Proficient in multi-tasking and meeting sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Discrete and able to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Highly organized ,detail-oriented, self-motivated and reliable team player

  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage high-level relationships and build strong customer service focused relationships


 



Requirements:

Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor’s Degree and five or more years of related experience; or ten or more years of related experience in payroll processing for a payroll of 1000+ employees with multiple entities and multiple state tax jurisdictions
