Payroll Accountant
Successful candidates must have experience in the following in order to be considered:
Five or more years of related experience in payroll processing for a payroll of 1000+ employees with multiple entities and multiple state tax jurisdictions
Knowledge of Lawson 9.0 HR/Payroll Module a plus
Experience with analyzing payroll trends – creating charts and graphs
Experience analyzing and generating Labor Distribution Reports
Demonstrated experience creating data extracts and/or reports from a system
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and web based applications
Demonstrated report writing capabilities, working with Access, and/or Excel Add Ins
Demonstrated expertise developing and auditing procedure manuals
Auditing experience – exposure to SOX compliance requirements relating to Payroll is a plus
Knowledge of payroll methods and best practices
Minimum three years experience with Kronos Workforce Central Suite 6.1 or higher
Kronos - Contribute in design discussions where architecture decisions are being developed
Participates in projects and other activities related to all Kronos modules, from initiation through transition to operations
Monitoring and trouble – shooting- Kronos application latencies including Client issues, report engines or queries.
Strong written communication skills needed to create and maintain a Kronos Payroll Policies & Procedures Manual
Provide support for eLabor as needed
Personal commitment to producing the highest quality work
Proficient in multi-tasking and meeting sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Discrete and able to maintain strict confidentiality
Highly organized ,detail-oriented, self-motivated and reliable team player
