Position Summary: Red Hat is seeking an experienced Business Analyst andOracle Financials Functional analyst with significant experience in implementingand supportingOracle Project Billing, Costing, and Time and Labor (OTL). Experience with other Oracle Financial applications is highlydesired.
This position is a fully qualified and career-oriented position requiring strong written and verbal communication skills in English. You will be working with end users and other IT associates to facilitate issue resolution, troubleshoot functional and technical application issues, and develop business processes and solutions to support end user needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to other personnel. - Perform EBS configurations/Set-Ups
- Define new business requirements and provide gap analysis. - Prepare detailed functional specifications for extensions, interfaces, reports and conversions (MD50s & TE40s). - Support production : monitor and troubleshoot , initiate and monitor system processes - Initiate and follow through on Oracle Service Requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Requirements Oracle Applications E-business Suite requirements
- 5+ years implementation, configuration and support experience with Oracle Project Accounting (Billing, Costing) and Oracle Time + Labor (OTL) with exposure to International implementations. - Support and implementation experience with other EBS Financial modules is highly desired (Receivables, General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing)
- Understanding of application objects and relationships.
- Ability to use SQL to debug and diagnose problems
- Experience with reporting tools like Business Objects.
Business Analyst Requirements
- In-depth knowledge, understanding, and experience in accounting systems and processes. - In depth knowledge of Project Management fundamentals, techniques, and applications. Other Requirements
