Oracle Financial Management Systems Specialist:
Role/Responsibilities:
-Work with client financial staff and other stakeholders to define requirements for
interface(s) between the new grants management solution and associated financial systems
-Design or configure the platform to ensure detailed financial information concerning
grants award and execution can be managed natively within the grants management structure
-Ensure underlying data stores are designed to support the varied financial reporting and
analysis needs of the users
Requirements:Required Qualifications:
-Prior work experience of at least five years in the Government sector providing subject
expertise in recording and maintaining financial transactions in core accounting and
related financial systems
-Prior work experience of at least five years in the Government sector demonstrating
expertise in Federal accounting principles, regulations, practices and terminology
- at least 10 years total relevant professional experience
- BS/BA degree in relevant discipline such as MIS, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, etc.
- CPA, CGFM or other relevant certification is a plus
Skills/Experience:
- Oracle Federal Financials R11.5.10 applications expertise; knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials data model
- Understanding of Grants Management processes in Federal Government (as grantor) environment; knowledge of data requirements in Grants Management systems
- Understanding of accounting impact of grants processes in Federal Government environment
- Experience with OBIEE, BI Publisher, and other reporting/BI tools within an Oracle RDBMS and applications environment
