Per Hour Position Summary:
Perform all aspects of the network’s daily operation including data backups, security, virus scans, file transfers and fault recovery. Researches and implements new technology for communications and computing infrastructure. Monitors all servers and network software and hardware with in the enterprise. Performs preventive/corrective maintenance to ensure security and the highest possible reliability. Duties: (1) Responsible for the configuration, maintenance and support of the infrastructure. (2) Install, test and administer enhancements to existing hardware and software. (3) Evaluate and recommend network equipment, security hardware and policies and personal computing equipment and software packages for end-users. (4) Responsible for Internet access and primary support for network and Internet (5) Responsible for data migrations and all technical assistance for a new/enhanced IT system. (6) Administers network servers: tracks software, installations, configurations/updates, and licenses. (7) Coordinates hardware, installations, upgrades and security procedures. (8) Administers all network infrastructure devices (9) Administers desktops: access to the Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) and firewall (remote). (10) Provide end-user support for hardware, office automation software, and financial/human resources software. (11) Administration of VOIP servers and call manager Requirements
Must haves: 1-5 years experience as a Network Engineer (1) CISCO (2) VOIP (3) CCNA Certification Nice to haves: (1) CCIP Certification (2) Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
