Municipal Bond Specialist / Municipal Evaluated Pricing
Municipal Bond Specialist—Municipal Evaluated Pricing
This position requires a highly motivated person who will join the municipals evaluated pricing team. Using sophisticated analytics, the team is responsible for the support of valuation models and systems, and providing customers with evaluated prices for municipal bonds. Team members have extensive municipal industry experience and include former traders, credit analysts, investment bankers and portfolio managers. The role demands excellent communication and people skills to work effectively with a variety of colleagues including business, sales, R&D and financial engineering teams.
Responsible for performing core team functions such as daily quality control analytics, exceptions review, code testing, and price curve maintenance. The role translates market knowledge into data-driven analytics and uses a solutions-oriented problem soling approach to improve existing processes. Will interact with clients to respond to complex questions about current and future enhancements to pricing methodologies. This role is responsible for conducting internal reviews of pricing quality and enhancements in conjunction with specialists, business managers and sales staff. Will maintain regular contact with market participants, perform client visits, and assist the sales team in messaging and selling.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree; CFA or MBA a plus;
10+ years of capital market experience; strong understanding of the municipal bond market and bond valuation fundamentals;
Superior research and analysis skills, and the ability to create financial models;
Able to work within a fast paced product development environment and adapt easily to changing priorities;
Superior Excel skills;
Excellent communication skills and learning ability; and
Experience with financial models and credit analysis a plus.

Total compensation of 200k Full Benefits
