For this role, we are seeking an intelligent, organized and responsible individual with 3+ years of direct technical experience with software installation and migration (MS Great Plains experience strongly preferred), as well as a basic understanding and hands-on experience with an MS SQL server. Equally important is experience supporting accounting/business solutions and a strong understanding of a consultative and strategic implementation process. Additional qualifications essential for success in this role include: .Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred, in Accounting or IT and/or combination of education and accounting experience. .Proficiency in the basics of networking (data communications) is required along with familiarity of various operating platforms. .Experience working with accounting software applications, preferably Great Plains. .Excellent client skills and customer relationship management skills, with proven ability to communicate with clients' controllers and IT personnel. .Ability to work independently on client site, as well as contributing as an effective team member. .Demonstrates expertise in an industry or functional area ( building) a strong reputation in the marketplace and commitment to RSM's People Philosophy by modeling appropriate behaviors and acting with respect and dignity in interactions inside and outside the Firm. .Ability for some travel to client sites. Responsibilities for the position include: .Providing day-to-day technical application support for client companies and working closely with clients in the configuration and migration to new systems. .Installing software within the Microsoft Business Solutions line of products, primarily Dynamics GP (f.k.a. Great Plains ) on SQL platforms, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, order entry and purchasing modules. .Performing technical upgrades of Dynamics GP to the latest version for clients and providing technical support of the software. .Performing and managing integration of the solution, as well as assisting implementation teams with system administration training issues. .Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations. .Other duties as assigned "EEO/AA employer"
