Job Description: Description
Initial and ongoing due diligence and analytical modeling of securities held in FMA portfolios or in recurring valuation/analysis assignments. Participate actively in ongoing portfolio disposition and management ntify and explore potential problem areas or opportunities in the portfolios. Actively help direct BRS efforts related to CMBS and CRE markets, including any analytical or data modeling enhancements, market trends or business onstrates knowledge of CAATs and data analysis; Effectively utilizes and applies data analysis techniques to understand and improve testing approach; able to demonstrate understanding of the inter-relationships between systems, data and processes; Aids business process teams with the formulation of specialized testing scripts. Analyzes and interprets data to provide relevant and useful solutions and conclusions; Appropriately applies tools and applications to facilitate analysis; Demonstrates knowledge of auditing principles including an ability to critically challenge control assertions while maintaining the highest degree of professional skepticism; Considers multiple aspects of issues and applies sound judgment and reason to develop practical solutions
Qualifications
-Candidate must posses excellent analytical and modeling skills.
-Strong understanding of mortgages policies and business applications.
-Excellent attention to detail with ability to identify potential strategic risks and issues.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with business partners, auditors and examiners.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
-Strong sense of accountability and work ethic.
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
-Project Management skills are a plus.
-Bachelor's degree is preferred, masters or graduate degree is a plus. Degree in mathematics, economics or business is desired.
