Position Summary:

- Ability to lead Advisory Services Projects - project management, M&A integration (a plus), Business Road Map and manufacturing industry business acumen.
- Ability to help architect and deliver complex process improvement and integration (a plus) solutions in support of: 1) business carve-outs; 2) divestitures, and 3) strategic drivers such as organizational structure change, supply chain improvement, process / Six Sigma / Lean process optimization, growth, cost reduction, etc.
- Ability to establish professional relationships with functional area leaders (VP of Ops, Controller, VP of HR), and some proven experience with "C" level executives (CFO, COO, CEO).
- Experience advising manufacturing and private equity leaders on strategic and tactical operational initiatives and investment decisions.
- Ability to function as an interim Operations Manager/ Director of Operations.
- Ability to advise financial sponsors on the risks and rewards of operational improvement spend and initiatives.
- Ability to oversee project quality assurance through direct client interaction and guarantee client satisfaction and engagement profitability.
- Ability to serve as a M&D industry thought leader and successfully communicate the benefits that Advisory Services provides to industry clients and prospects.
- Ability to drive new business by leveraging existing client projects and personal networks, assisting on sales calls, crafting and delivering key presentations, helping compose accurate estimates and cost models, and helping author differentiating proposals.

Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Must have 3+ years of manufacturing and/or private equity industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading significant merger and acquisition integration initiatives (a plus).
- Must have 5+ years of organizational leadership and/or large-scale project management and organizational change implementations.
- Must have 3+ years experience in process design and optimization.
- Must have demonstrated capability in most if not all of the following: supply chain management (sourcing, manufacturing, service delivery, packaging, distribution, transportation distribution), business performance management, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles.
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites (primarily domestic, but may include some overseas).
- Must have strong business development acumen coupled with strong implementation knowledge and service delivery experience.
- Must have an understanding of Manufacturing & Distribution and Service industry trends.
- Must have solid reputation and references with previous clients, contacts, partners, etc.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills as evidenced by ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
