Position Summary:
As we continue our growth, the organization's business development model has become increasingly important. Predictable, sustainable and profitable revenue growth requires constant, proactive demand generation and well-coordinated teamwork between a wide range of specialists. With this in mind, the Deloitte Tax LLP leadership team is looking to expand its business development model. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, relevant industry experience, and demonstrated selling attributes/techniques.
The Business Development Senior role is involves: - Creating awareness, building relationships with key executives, and developing/pursuing leads; - Supporting direct marketing campaigns - including following up on telemarketing efforts; and - Assisting consultants with qualifying, and winning opportunities - Creating strategic and tactical plans to uncover and close a range of revenue projects - Organize/develop national and regional client programs, including senior executive forums, roundtables, seminars and external trade shows. Work with the national marketing managers for each service line to identify topics, speakers and locations. Coordinate development of content and oversee production of presentation materials to support programs - Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 1-3 years of prior relevant experience in marketing, Experience working as a team player in a large matrixed organization - Excellent written and oral communications skills and professional client service manner - Superior Microsoft Office skills - Project management experience and ability to work in a fast paced environment - Ability to analyze data and make sound observations and recommendations - Successful track record of selling services within assigned territories/client(s) - Solid executive presence - Significant business relationships with senior client executives - High integrity - honors commitments - Ability to work as a team player - Willingness and ability to share knowledge with others - Strong presentation skills - Undergraduate degree
